Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m so glad you’re here :) In this blog you will find my latest photography work, including weddings, portraits, engagements, and some personal photographs. But first, I wanted to tell you a little bit about my journey the last couple of months…
In August, I was living with my boyfriend, Paul, in Pittsburgh, PA. We had both grown up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh and had pretty much lived there our entire lives. While we loved the city and everything it had to offer, we were both growing a little bit restless. Our friends were continuing to move away, the places we had once found exciting were becoming routine, and we felt as though there were no new experiences left for us to discover. It was then that we decided we were going to move!
After thinking over all of our options we decided that the most awesome place we could ever go would be CALIFORNIA! Paul got accepted into a masters program at UCI, and we decided to move to Huntington Beach, also known as surf city ;) This was the perfect location for us to explore the surrounding cities and enjoy living within walking distance to the ocean! It is also the perfect location for me to start my wedding photography business! New and inspiring locations, beautiful sunshine & light, and tons of creative minds everywhere you look!
Our road trip across the country was one of the best weeks ever! Some of the highlights of our trip were stopping in Chicago to hang with my awesome cousins, visiting Rocky Mountain National Park in Denver, seeing a concert in the Red Rocks Amphitheater, hiking around Bryce Canyon, and gambling (a tiny bit) in Las Vegas! After our journey across the country, we drove up to our new home in Huntington Beach, where we experienced the most break taking sunset we've ever seen! It was all pretty surreal and felt like we were walking in a dream.
Below are some photographs I’ve taken on our journey across the country. I’m so excited to experience everything California has to offer, create some beautiful images, and meet some awesome people along the way!
